There’s a Black Retriever
There’s Rudolph the Red Nosed…no that’s another story.

Our story is:

Blue Dog is a kind of black dog.
But Blue Dog is a special kind of dog. Blue Dog could be a hockey dog or a chatty cat.

Blue Dog’s not a bad dog.
But sometimes is a sad dog.

Blue Dog is a survivor, but not all Blue Dog’s friends are survivors.

But they could be…

They are special – but they must live inside the magic ring of safety until they are strong enough to become a part of the ring of safety for others.

Blue Dog lives (for the moment) with the big “D”,

Depression.

Blue Dog is a special, closed section of the Smelly the hockeydog website intended as a private forum and information source for hockey players, their friends and acquaintances, and perhaps even their parents and family members who suffer from depression or who have contemplated or threatened self- harm or even suicide.
